Vantage 2, update 8, is now available

Faster rendering, precise lighting control, bloom and glare camera effects, and more!

Speed up offline and real-time rendering and enjoy more artistic control with the latest version of Chaos Vantage.

New in Vantage 2.8

Shader Execution Reordering (SER): Enjoy faster real-time and offline rendering with performance gains of up to 80% with support for SER in NVIDIA’s Ada and Blackwell GPUs.

Light linking: Control how each light affects specific objects in your scene. Include or exclude lights per object per light to fine-tune highlights, shadows, and overall composition—perfect for focused lighting setups and creative control.

Lens effects: Add cinematic glow and realism to bright areas with the new bloom and glare camera effects. You can change the colorations, size, intensity, saturation, aperture sides, shape, and more.

Parallax shader: Simulate render-ready rooms without modeling them. The shader can be applied on a flat geometry, creating the illusion of a fully furnished interior. A quick way to introduce details to facades and shop displays for example.

Temporal consistency: Keep scattered elements stable across frames. When enabled, instances are distributed based on the selected rest-pose frame and remain attached, following the surface’s natural movement across all frames.

Switch material: Swap material variants quickly and easily. Ideal for look development and quick comparisons without rebuilding shaders.
